Protecting your information
Special Gifts4u is Verified and Secured by a GoDaddy.com SSL Certificate (Secure Sockets Layer) which encodes your personal information and all your transactions using the powerful SSL encryption technology. SSL encrypts your credit card number, name, address, phone number, identification number and password as it travels between the site and the banks, so that it cannot be read or captured by anyone other than the secure server.
For added protection we use a combination of payment systems to authorise customer transactions, depending whether you are paying via the website, by telephone, BACS or in the store. This enables us to provide better security, and therefore greater peace of mind to you whilst shopping. Our combined systems include, Cardsave - a member of the WorldPay Group, the UK’s largest card processor. Peace of mind that transactions are processed efficiently and securely by the UK’s largest acquirer. Nochex - one of the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK, and of course PayPal - the safe worldwide electronic money system.
Buying from Special Gifts4u could not be easier. Simply choose the items you require, add them to the shopping basket, when you have finished shopping proceed to the checkout. Once at checkout fill out the relevant information and then choose to pay by one of the following methods:
Cardsave - Debit /Credit Card – Please use the'Cardsave' checkout button if you wish to pay using our secure debit/credit card checkout system. No extra charge.
Nochex - Debit /Credit Card – Please use the 'Nochex' checkout button if you wish to pay using our secure debit/credit card checkout system. Now accepting American Express. No extra charge.
Amazon Checkout - Payment can now be made using your own Amazon account information without leaving our website. Simply click on the 'Pay with Amazon' button and enter your details. No extra charge.
PayPal - Debit /Credit Card – Please use the 'PayPal' checkout button if you wish to pay using our secure debit/credit card checkout system. No extra charge.
Phone – We are primarily an Internet Based Business, we can now take your payment over the phone if required. This is via Cardsave our Secure Payment Service, once your card details have been taken, they are encrypted and we don't have access to any of your card information.
Cheque/Postal Order – If you would like to pay be either cheque or postal order simply shop as normal on the website and proceed to checkout. Print out your checkout page and send it along with your delivery address, contact telephone number, email address and your cheque/postal order for the full amount including any shipping charges. Please make any cheques payable to Special Gifts4u, and remember to add your name and address on the reverse of the cheque. Please allow 7 working days from the receipt of your cheque for orders to be dispatched. Uncrossed Postal Orders will be dealt with as an instant payment.
Special Gifts4u take no responsibility for cash being sent through the post. If you do wish to pay by cash please send using Recorded Delivery (signed for) and use the same method above for Cheques and Postal Orders.
Delivery / Refunds / Returns
UK Shipping: Your order will be sent via Royal Mail.
This will normally be Tracked/Recorded or 1st Class Post, which usually delivers between 1-2 days. However, please allow up to 5 days for delivery in busy periods..
If you then still do not receive your order, please contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding it for you - EVEN if you have not had a card to say you missed the delivery.This is where 90% of lost/delayed parcels are found.
If your local sorting office do not have the parcel, please contact us so that we can do further checks.
Heavier items will be sent with Collect + to keep the postage down.
If you wish to collect your parcel from your nearest Collect + store, please inform us immediately by telephone or e.mail or it will go to your designated shipping address.
International Shipping: will be sent out using Royal Mail Air Mail within 1-2 days. The order is then in the hands of the International Carrier.
Shipping outside of the UK is set for Heavy Items.
If you have been overcharged for Shipping then you will be Refunded the overcharge.

We fully comply with the Distance Selling Regulations and take full responsibility for any items which are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.
Return Policy Details: We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase from Special Gifts4u and offer our Customers a full 14 day money back guarantee on all our products, except 'Made to Order' or 'Personalised Items' ordered correctly.
In the unlikely event that your item (s) arrive either faulty or damaged. Please contact us immediately and we will offer you either an exchange, replacement or full refund.
You may return new or unused products within fourteen (14) days of delivery for a full refund of the cost of the goods. Items should be returned in their original packaging and where relevant, with the original packaging in place. We will only pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
We reserve the right to reject the returns of goods which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Policy and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that these return guidelines only apply to products purchased on our Website. We cannot accept returns of product purchased elsewhere.
Please return products with your original order dispatch advice note within fourteen (14) days of receipt of your order. You will need to pay for the postage of any items you return. If you are returning faulty, damaged or goods sent incorrectly by us, we will refund your postage costs.
Please remember, we can only issue you with a refund if the returned product concerned is in a fully re-saleable condition.
Some of our products may have tickets attached which explain something specific about the item. Do not remove these tickets. If they are found to have been removed, we will be unable to offer a refund.
Please make sure that your return package is packed and sealed securely (in the original packaging if possible). Packages must be returned with the postage prepaid. We recommend the use of an insured parcel service, such as Royal Mail Signed For ie Recorded Delivery.
All returns will be refunded to you via your original form of payment once they are received. Allow up to fourteen (14) days for the credit to appear on your statement.
All items must be returned to us in their original condition with the original packaging.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
These returns guidelines only apply to products purchased our Website. We cannot accept the return of Special Gifts4u products purchased elsewhere.
Seven Day Cooling Off Period
In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations you have seven (7) working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase. In this case, we will provide a full refund on the goods only but you must return the canceled items to us at your cost. We recommend you use a carrier service that requires a signature.
